The tour begins early in the morning with pick-up from your accommodation in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 am. We travel by private transport toward the town of Mollepata, where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast before continuing the journey.
After breakfast, we drive to Soraypampa (3,850 m / 12,631 ft), the starting point of the hike. From here, you begin a scenic uphill trek toward Humantay Lake, which takes approximately 2 hours, depending on your pace and physical condition. Horse rentals are available along the route for those who prefer assistance (optional and not included).
Upon reaching Humantay Lake, you will have 30 to 40 minutes of free time to explore the area, take photos, and enjoy the incredible mountain scenery before starting the descent back to Soraypampa.
After the hike, we return to Mollepata for a well-deserved lunch and short rest. In the afternoon, we begin our journey back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 to 5:30 pm. The tour ends near Plaza San Francisco, from where you can return to your hotel or enjoy dinner in the city.
